Levinthal, Israel Herbert
(1888-1978)
   American rabbi. He served as rabbi of the Brooklyn Jewish Center from 1919. Active in the Zionist movement, he was president of the Rabbinical Association of America. His writings include Judaism: An Analysis and an Interpretation, Point of View: An Analysis of American Judaism and Judaism Speaks to the Modern World.
